The Double Dude from Triggerdinger®

You know that annoying tension between your shoulder blades along your spine?

They often arise from sitting for long periods of time, monotonous work or a stressful everyday life. Would you like to simply press into these exact areas and release the tension, but you can't really get to the relevant areas?

The Double Dudę from our partner Triggerdinger® was developed precisely for these areas. The team of sports scientists looked at conventional fascia products and analyzed that although many are suitable for rolling out the muscles over a large area, there was often a lack of specific solutions. This is how the idea of ​​the Double Dude came about.

In the course of this, the team collected feedback from customers and developed the first prototypes. The new product had to meet the following properties:

  • Two golf ball-sized heads for precise pressing
  • Cutout in the middle for spine
  • Soft and flexible material
  • Made in Germany

From the prototype to the finished product
Since Triggerdinger already has production in Germany, the last point could be checked off immediately. Now it was a matter of finding the optimal size of the head and the right recess for the spine. With the help of a 3D printer, 8 different sizes and heights were produced and the prototypes were tested on 30 existing customers and 20 people who did not yet know Triggerdinger.

The result is a product that, in our opinion, allows no compromises. The Double Dude has an optimal distance and is made of high-quality material, the application is very easy and can be done without much explanation. Simply feel the tense area, position the Double Dude, slowly place it on top and hold it for 45-60 seconds. Then carry out light mobilizing movements.

The following applications are very popular with the Double Dude
Thoracic spine, lower back, neck! These are the areas where the Double Dude is used most often. The application is intuitive and easy because the spine shows the way. It is important that you do not touch the spine with the knobs and that you always proceed slowly and carefully. As with everything, the sound makes the music here. A tense back should always be warmed up beforehand with a few mobilizing and stretching exercises and then take time to use the Double Dude.

Our tip: Start by standing against a wall. The material prevents the Double Dude from slipping and you can regulate the pressure even better by adjusting the distance between the feet and the ground.
